Terms of Service

Effective: 6 November 2026 Applies to: PageVerified at https://pageverified.com: its API, credits, directory, featured placements and assessment deliverables.

1. Who these terms are between

"PageVerified", "we" and "us" mean the operator of PageVerified at pageverified.com. "You" means the person or business using PageVerified, including through an AI agent acting for you.

By getting an API key, buying credits or a placement, submitting a tool, or buying a deliverable, you accept these Terms.

2. API keys and credits

• A key is issued once and stored by us only as a hash. Keep it secret; anyone holding it can spend its credits. If it leaks, contact support and we will disable it.
• Free keys carry a small number of free credits and tighter rate limits. Free credits have no cash value.
• Paid credits are bought in one-time packs through Stripe. Each tool's page and /tools state how many credits a call costs. A call that fails on our side is refunded to your balance automatically.
• Credits are not money, cannot be transferred between keys except by us, and are not refundable as cash except under the Refund Policy or where the law requires.
• We may change a tool's credit cost for future calls. A change never applies to a call already made.

3. Using the tools

You agree to:

• Use PageVerified only for lawful purposes and within the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Send only content you have the right to send, and capture only public pages you are allowed to access.
• Not try to break, overload, or get around the limits or security of PageVerified, and not use PageVerified to reach private networks.

We may refuse a request that would breach these rules, a website's terms, or its robots.txt.

4. Web capture and Capture Records

A capture records what PageVerified's renderer received from a public URL at the time shown, on PageVerified's own server clock. A Capture Record adds a digital signature over the capture's details so anyone can check later that the details have not been changed since PageVerified signed them.

Neither is a forensic chain of custody, a statement that the page's content is true, proof of who wrote it, or a legal certification. Whether a capture is useful as evidence for a particular purpose is for you and your advisers to decide.

5. Tools run by other sellers

Some tools may be provided by other sellers. Their pages name the seller. The seller is responsible for its tool's output; we are responsible for running the call, charging credits and refunding failed calls.

6. The directory and featured placements

• Listings are verified for availability, visible product evidence and working supplied links at the time checked. A listing is not an endorsement, security audit or guarantee.
• If you submit a tool, you confirm you have authority to do so and that its details are accurate. You let us publish those details, and include them in the directory's public pages, feeds and data products.
• A featured placement is a paid, time-limited position for a verified listing. It is shown as sponsored while it runs. It starts when payment is confirmed and does not change the verification checks.
• We may remove a listing that no longer passes verification, breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, or misleads users.

7. Assessment deliverables

Where we sell a written assessment (such as an Agent Commerce Readiness Report), it is delivered by email after payment and your intake answers. It is AI-assisted, quality-reviewed before sending, and is not legal, financial, tax, security or compliance advice. You may use it for your own service and share it with your advisers and customers with attribution; you may not resell it as a standalone product.

8. Our content

We keep all rights in PageVerified's software, methods, schemas, page content and aggregated data. The output a tool returns to you is yours to use.

9. Refunds and consumer rights

See the Refund Policy at /refunds. Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

• our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, data or opportunity;
• PageVerified is provided as it is, without promises of uninterrupted availability.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Suspension

We may suspend or close a key, listing or account that breaches these Terms, is used for fraud, or has its payment reversed. Unused paid credits on a key closed for breach are not refunded, except where the law requires.

12. Agents acting for you

When an AI agent uses PageVerified for you, you are the party to these Terms and are responsible for what the agent does with your key.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date and do not affect calls or purchases already made.
